Acupuncture is not the only way to address imbalances in the human body. The human touch is invaluable in therapy as we are social animals and always in need of physical connection. Studies have shown that the immune system is enhanced through physical touch.

Muscles are the work horses of the human body. Without them, we would not be able to move through our environment. Since they are in constant use, they can become fatigued or hypertonic. When stagnation occurs, manual adjustments can pin point the source of tension through Trigger Point Therapy, Positional Release, Tui na, or Acupressure. Schedule a Manual Therapy appointment to experience the wide range of techniques I have in my toolbox.

The meridians in Chinese Medicine are the highways for essential function in the body. Fascia is the physical structure that wraps every muscle fiber in the body and is the base in which some of the qi moves.  Myofascial stretching techniques are a non invasive way to alter the tension in the meridian to release stagnation. When the body is free of stagnation, health and emotions are kept in balance.

Qi Gong treatments are another form of manual therapy that can be highly effective in addressing many different imbalances.
During the treatment, the practitioner uses their own personal Qi field to alter the different layers of energy that exist in the human body.
Moving from the external to the internal, it is a way to feel energized and relaxed at the same time. This form of therapy is effective on the most sensitive of patients, who do not want a lot of physical touch or are afraid of needles. A Neurological Qi Gong Treatment is a very gentle form of therapy where I use my own external qi to alter the synapse functions of your brain's electricity. It tends to be effective for learning disabilities, emotional blockages, recovery from trauma and general spiritual growth.
